Synopsis
It follows a group of military superhumans consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then greenlit the project himself when he became CEO of DC Studios.

This series has great characters and is extremely creative
I have always loved the DC Universe and while I think the DCEU has been hated too much, I have been very disappointed with many of the DCEU projects. I think when James Gunn says that superhero movies and TV have become too generic, that is the key right there.
I think James Gunn is really going to change that and I can’t wait
There have been so many superhero movies in the last decade that when people see a new one come out they don’t go to the theater because they think “another superhero movie man, there have been too many of those” because they’re all the same, just a generic action movie (especially the sequels). I also think that because Marvel has been so much more popular, DC has a lot of great characters that have been overlooked (by fans) and I think if everything in DC works out in the next couple of years, the lesser known characters will be able to do well at the box office as long as they can capture people’s attention and really have a special vibe.
