Kaya Scodelario’s character, Laura Harrison, is fictional
Fictional miniseries based on the life of Ayrton Senna da Silva, the Brazilian racing legend who won the Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship three times. She is based on journalists who covered Ayrton Senna’s career. In addition, Scodelario’s family is Brazilian, originally from São Paulo, Senna’s home state. She is also fluent in Brazilian Portuguese.
He is a rising actor and this was undoubtedly the biggest role of his career
The first races of Senna’s career in England are shown at a racetrack near a mountain range. There are no mountains in England – especially Norfolk, which is famous for its flat landscape. Starting with this review of the Senna series, I will start by talking about the cast, especially the choice of Gabriel Leone for the role. I believe he will make great films with outstanding directors because he is immensely talented.
However, there is no greater honor than portraying a national idol and hero
Other cast members also skillfully brought their characters to life, transporting us to a bygone era with Galvão Bueno’s narration and Xuxa’s golden age. The production of the series is impeccable and, honestly, Netflix made an excellent decision in investing everything to ensure that the series would not only be a national success, but also an international one. I made a point of watching the making-of, and it is sensational-surreal for a Brazilian series. The work of audio capture, the creation of cars and racing suits identical to those of the period, and the excellent CGI work were all remarkable.
Watching the series gave me that understanding
I was not born in Senna’s time, but I knew how important he was to our country. However, I did not fully understand the extent of his achievements or his story. Senna’s moving story moves us, from his childhood to his tragic accident. Senna is gone, but his legacy lives on and, thanks to this series, it will be etched in the minds of future generations.
But overall, it’s a 10/10
The only criticism, which didn’t affect my final rating, but is worth mentioning, is regarding certain indecent scenes that didn’t need to be included. The series should have been made to be watched openly with the family, and I believe that was a mistake. Thanks to everyone involved!
